All versions follow a uniform operating logic and signal assignment, making changes and upgrades easy. Certain versions are offered exclusively with partner machines, and additional hardware such as stepper motor cards and drivers or servo drives are also available.
Our software WinPC-NC Light comes with the small external USB adaptor nc100 . This means that the PC no longer requires a direct LPT interface, as was necessary with the old WinPC-NC Light . This means that WinPC-NC Light can also be used on modern computers, notebooks, and netbooks without any problems and is no longer restricted to 32-bit Windows.

The motor control is located in the USB adapter and is therefore largely independent of Windows and its background processes and programs. The step frequencies that can be generated are up to 20kHz for interpolated movements.
WinPC-NC Light also offers no restrictions whatsoever on computer hardware and can be used on all currently available versions of the Windows operating system from Win7 onwards.
For customers who still have a WinPC-NC Light with LPT control and without USB hardware, we offer a cost-effective upgrade option.

In contrast to earlier WinPC-NC versions, the supplied ncNET module is connected either directly to the control computer or via an existing network using a standard Ethernet cable. The robust and interference-resistant connection is particularly suitable for sensitive applications such as flame and plasma cutting or harsh industrial environments.
The motor control is located in the ncNET module and is therefore largely independent of Windows and its background processes and programs. The two LPT-compatible interfaces contained in the ncNETmodule are used for machine control and other signals and are identical to the other solutions in terms of pin assignment.
With WinPC-NC NET , you are well equipped for the future and can control your machine via a LAN network instead of USB.
WinPC-NC NET offers no restrictions on computer equipment and can be used on all current versions of the Windows operating system. In addition, WinPC-NC NET is continuously being further developed.
The ncNET module requires a separate power supply. The external power supply requires a stabilized output voltage of 5V DC with 1A or 12-36V DC with 1.5A. Further information on connecting the power supply can be found in our Shop. A suitable power supply unit can be ordered as an option.

WinPC-NC Professional has been used successfully over 5,000 times worldwide for more than 20 years and proves its reliability and accuracy in various applications every day.
The supplied axes controller is available in various designs and optionally with signal adapters, additional input/output modules, or external keypads for convenient machine setup. It is connected to the higher-level Windows PC via a serial, USB, or Ethernet connection and then performs its control tasks completely reliably and independently.
We also offer complete CNCMAX-controls with stepper motor output up to 10A line current and WinPC-NC Professional all fully assembled in a robust, attractive stainless steel tabletop housing and very easy to commission. WinPC-NC Professional has in conjunction with the axes controller CNCCON has a number of technology functions that enable the control of special external components or are required for various special tasks.
Here is a rough overview:
- Dispense - WinPC-NC Professional controls a special digital output for the dosing pump and uses a definable start-up time and run-on distance, i.e., it switches off the pump a certain distance before the end of the contour to prevent dripping.
- Double X-axes and automatic alignment - Large and heavy bridges can be driven by two parallel motors that always run synchronously. During reference runs, a special function and two reference switches are used to achieve exact right-angle alignment.
- Optocoupler inputs and outputs - As an option, our axes controller can operate up to 48 opto-decoupled inputs and up to 24 opto-decoupler outputs to implement PLC functions. This ensures that it can be used in industrial environments with 24V signals suitable for control cabinets.
- Analog output 0-10V for spindle speed control - The spindle speed on standard frequency converters can be controlled with a 0-10V signal output. Furthermore, synchronization of the process can be achieved with a spindle speed input, and other inputs such as spindle stop and spindle error are monitored.
- Monitoring of multiple error signals with messages - Various error inputs, such as light grids, protective covers, spray cooling fill levels, compressed air, drive readiness, and others, can be easily monitored and the results displayed with freely definable messages and images.
- Automatic tool changer with monitoring - With WinPC-NC Professional makes controlling automatic tool changers easy. The individual release and grab processes processes can be conveniently controlled with macros and thus adapted to various mechanisms. Synchronization is achieved using several digital signals, such as spindle stop, collet open/closed, and tool locked. Digital signals can also be used to check tools in magazine positions, preventing malfunctions during automatic changing. An option is available to WinPC-NC Professional measure the correct picking up or putting down of tools or perform a tool breakage check.
- External program selection - Input signals and program names can be assigned to enable easy external selection of programs and jobs. Up to 256 different programs can be selected, e.g., from a PLC control system, and transferred for execution.
