After extensive development work and the implementation of many customer requests, the new Version 5 of WinPC-NCis now available. You are welcome to request the full installation package for Version 5 directly via the license download and install it according to the included installation instructions. Version 5 can be installed on the control computer alongside the old version and used interchangeably.
- All orders and licenses placed on or after January 1, 2026, have already been delivered with the license file for version 5 of WinPC-NC and can be used without restriction with both versions 4 and 5 of WinPC-NC .
- All customers with Version 4 of WinPC-NC can test Version 5 at their leisure until mid-2026. An update will be required after the trial period.
- Customers who are currently still using version 2 or 3 of WinPC-NC an purchase an update directly from our shop. The update is delivered online and entitles you to unrestricted use of versions 4 and 5 of WinPC-NC.

The biggest new features in version 5 are:
- Standard-compliant Z-axis, i.e., Z-minus can be set downward and is taken into account in all situations and functions
- Custom-assignable keyboard keys and any key combinations for almost all functions
- 5 different park positions with custom names
- 10 macros for interactive activation via menu, keyboard or external input line
- Up to 3 equivalent sensor inputs, allowing length sensor AND 3D probe AND touchplate to be connected simultaneously and even with different logic
- Realtime sensor monitoring to avoid collisions with 3D probe
- Support for barcode scanners for file selection
- Axis movement via input signals at the control panel
- And much more besides
